Small Business Loan Program

Purpose

 


A) development of small and medium industries;

B) creation of opportunities for industrial development at the rural level 

C) increase the contribution of small and medium enterprises to GDP;

 D) creation of employment opportunities;

 E) Assistance in poverty alleviation;

 F) to build entrepreneurial class;

 G) Banker-customer relationship building;

 H) Development of intellectual property.

 

Credit sector:

 

(A) Productive sector (1-6):

 1) Fisheries: (i) Carp species (Katla, Rui, Mrigel etc.), Monosex tilapia, Vhetki, Chital, Kai, Thai Kai, Shoal, Gajar, Puti etc .;

 (ii) Catfish-pangas, boal, pabda, tengra, singh, magur, shrimp, mixed fish farming etc. and production of pollen fry (in ponds).


2) Livestock:

 A) Poultry Farm: Poultry Farm, Quail Farm, Turkey Farm, Poultry Farm, Swan Farm, Peacock Farm, Pigeon Farm

 

Farms, partridge farms, etc .;

 

B) Cattle fattening: cow fattening, goat fattening, sheep / sheep fattening, buffalo fattening etc .;

 

C) Dairy farms: Cattle dairy farms, goat dairy farms, sheep / sheep dairy farms, buffalo dairy farms etc.

(C) Commercial sector:

 

Grocery / Manihari Business, Department Stores, Clothing Business / Readymade Garment Business, Sale of Animal Food / Fish Food, Paddy / Farm / Other Agricultural Products

 

Buying and selling, Fertilizer / Seed / Pesticide business, Parts store, Sale of electrical goods, Sale of electronics, Pharmaceutical business, Dried fish

 

Business, Stone Lifting & Sales, Sand Buying & Shopping Business, Shoe Business, Crockery Materials Buying & Selling, Bhangari Business, Hardware Business,

 

Hotel / restaurant business, sale of furniture etc.

 

Loan eligibility:

 

(A) Must be a citizen of Bangladesh;

 

(B) Must be a permanent resident of the jurisdiction of the branch. If not a permanent resident, a permanent resident in the jurisdiction of the branch must be the guarantor of the loan;

 

(C) the applicant must be unemployed / semi-unemployed;

 

(D) Age should be 18 to 45 years. The age limit is relaxed for old borrowers of Karmasangsthan Bank;

 

(E) have the capacity to manage the project / organization;

 

(F) Must have training / experience in project / organization management;

 

(G) have the ability to repay the loan and have a reputation for financial conduct, including the ability to use the loan;

 

(H) Debtors from any other bank / financial institution / NGO or non-government organization will not be considered eligible.

 

Credit:

 

i) Maximum 2.00 (two) lakh rupees;

 

ii) Minimum 50.00 (fifty) thousand rupees.

 

Loan term and repayment schedule:

 

A) Usually: 2 years. However, considering the nature of the project, size, loan amount, potential profit, etc., the loan term can be from 1 year to a maximum of 5 years. Maximum 06 years in case of loan assistance program for setting up agro-based industries;

 

B) Debt repayment schedule is determined in monthly / quarterly / half-yearly / one-time installments based on marketing of the product / service produced;

 

C) Early Settlement Fee (ESF) should be paid as per rules in case of loan repayment by repaying the loan before maturity.

 

Documents payable with loan proposal (applicable in all cases):

 

(01) Application of loan in the prescribed form to the lending branch of the bank located in the project area;

 

(02) Newly taken 02 (two) attested passport size attested photograph of the applicant;

 

(03) Attested passport size attested photo taken by the guarantor 02 (two) copies;

 

(04) Attested photocopy of both the back of the national identity card of the applicant and the guarantor (not mandatory);

 

(05) Certificate of citizenship issued by the local UP Chairman / Municipal Mayor / Ward Councilor of the City Corporation along with photocopy of the Entrepreneur / Guarantor's document / pamphlet as proof of permanent residence of the Entrepreneur / Guarantor;

 

(06) Attested photocopy of educational qualification certificate (if applicable);

 

(06) Attested photocopy of training / experience certificate (if applicable);

 

(06) Certificate of Certificate / Manager in case of rent / lease;

 

(09) (a) the consent of the guarantor if the owner of the project site is the guarantor; (B) a copy of the lease agreement / lease if rented / leased;

 

(10) 03 tenders (if applicable) from the supplier in case of loan for purchase of equipment;

 

(11) Copy of Trade License in case of loan above Rs. 1,00,000 / - (where applicable);

 

(12) a copy of the drug license (in the case of a drug store);

 

(13) Income-expenditure statement of the project / organization.

 

Documents / Papers payable with loan offer:

 

(i) Up to Rs.1,00,000 / -:

 

Loan up to Rs. 1,00,000 / - without collateral. Unsecured up to Rs. 3,00,000 / - in special cases.

 

(A) In case of inherited property:

 

SA / RS ledger, ledger of latest survey and heir certificate if that ledger is not in his own name.

 

(B) In case of property obtained by decree / deed / lease / decree of civil court:

 

01) Original copy of Kabla / Danpatra / Lease Patra / Document, Copy of Civil Court Judgment / Decree Signature;

 

02) If the ownership is obtained through Kabla / Danpatrasutra, the ledger of the deed recipient. If there is no ledger in the name of the deed holder, seller / donation letter

 

Ledger of donor's name;

 

03) If the ownership is obtained by decree of the court, then the original or signed copy of the ledger in the decree.

(ii) In all cases above Rs. 1,00,000 / -:

 

(A) In case of inherited property:

 

01) SA / RS ledger, ledger of latest survey and if the ledger is not in his own name, heir certificate and mutated

 

Khatian (with DCR copy) and up to date rent receipt. Union / Municipality / City except Warish Certificate Court

 

If given by the corporation, it will also be acceptable in this case;

 

02) National identity card of both the borrower and the guarantor.

 

(B) In case of property obtained by decree / deed / lease / decree of civil court:

 

01) Original deed of deed / deed / lease / deed, forged signature of civil court judgment / decree;

 

02) Mutated ledger (with DCR copy) in the name of the deed holder along with other ledgers in case of ownership in Kabla / Danpatrasutra;

 

03) In case of ownership by the decree of the court, in that case the original deed of the mutated ledger (including DCR copy) or forged signature.

 

(iii) In case of projects and working capital loans above Rs.5,00,000 / -:

 

01) Permission to set up project from City Corporation / Municipality / Local Authority (if applicable);

 

02) In case of land allotted by BSCIC, original allotment letter, letter of explanation of possession, certificate of payment of updated installment and loan

 

Necessary edited ownership deed to be paid in full installments before distribution;

 

03) Documentary proof of income tax payment (if income tax payer);

 

04) In case of land allotted by the government or other authority, loan from the Ministry of Land / concerned authority by mortgaging the land to the bank

 

No-objection letter;

 

05) Declaration of source of funds required for own investment;

 

06) Hand-drawn route-map of the project land;

 

08) Site plan / layout plan of hand drawn project;

 

06) Project profile, including possible design / drawing of the project, technical management, total project cost, detailed calculation of construction cost,

 

Financial analysis etc. should be included. In this case, the entrepreneur himself and in case of project cost up to 10.00 (ten) lakh rupees

 

In case of projects above Rs. 10.00 (ten) lakhs, assistance of civil engineer may be taken;

 

09) 03 competitive tenders submitted by local indenters for imported foreign machinery required for the project.

 

(Catalog, with detailed specification);

 

10) 03 competitive tenders for local machinery (with catalogs as required);

 

11) Consent letter for supply of electricity / gas from PDB / DESA / DESCO / REB / Gas Trans: End Dist.

 

12) Clearance from environmental pollution control authority (if necessary).
